Have you ever heard of the Skycar 400? If you have, you were probably amazed. It is not only a car, it can fly! It is powered by eight 150 horsepower rotary engines, and can takeoff and land vertically. It has a sleek glass cockpit which contains 2 rows of 2 seats. And one of the coolest things about it is the fact that it is 100% autonomous! Just enter your destination, and it will fly you there!
Paul Moller, the creator of the Skycar 400 has been building and inventing since he was a kid. According to Bill Robinson, “Young Paul liked to build things. He finished his first house at age six and completed the second, this one a two-story job, at nine. By the time he reached 11, he'd expanded his interest from simple earthly construction to flight, or better said, things which would take him flying.” He soon built a ferris wheel, and by the age of 15, a helicopter. His latest project, even more ambitious then all of these, is the Skycar 400 which runs on ethanol and has a maxium speed of 331 mph.
